New Site Rules & Procedures

In response to the pandemic we have completed a full review and assessment of the market site in order to issue a full risk assessment and method statement outlining the new rules we will have in place when we re-open to ensure we keep our customers, traders and staff, safe and well.

A Summary of the new procedures is below:

  • Social distancing guidelines MUST be followed at all times on site
  • No Entry to the site if you show any symptoms of COVID-19, no matter how mild
  • Strictly no entry for Buyers/Visitors before 8am
  • To allow for social distancing within the market, the number of customers allowed to enter at any one time will be limited
  • Face coverings mandatory in indoor or undercover areas
  • One way system in place, follow arrows
  • Entrances & Exits clearly marked, please follow instructions
  • Hand Sanitisation stations on entry and exit to the site
  • Traders will be temperature checked prior to entering site
  • Traders must use gloves while interacting with the public
  • Traders must wear masks while selling unless plastic screens have been installed
  • External seating will be removed to prevent gathering or disruption to pedestrian flow
  • Maximum of 2 traders per stall
